What is MOPS?
Leland MOPS (Mothers Of Preschoolers) consists of a group of women committed to helping each other navigate through the world of motherhood. Our group is part of MOPS International who’s mission is to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. Generally, we meet once or twice a month (please see schedule here), and provide childcare through the MOPPETS program.
What Can You Expect?
At Leland MOPS you can expect to be welcomed into a warm and friendly environment. Even if you don’t know another mom at the meeting, you will feel like you’ve always belonged.
You will find no judgements. Real talk is liberating. It frees us from assumptions that we are alone in our struggles. We value taking a risk and sharing your story in order to heal someone else from their isolation.
You can expect to eat! Each time we meet we have a pot luck dinner or dinner is provided for the MOPS/MOMS Next groups and the MOPPETS! You will not go home hungry!
You can release your inner Pinterest! Each meeting we try to do one crafty project that tie in that evenings discussions. Not only is it fun, but most often we do something that we will actually use in our everyday lives.
